What We Do
Quite simply, the Blue Water Task Force is about:
- Monitoring the Gallatin River
- Researching the watershed
- Educating the community
In our work plan, you'll see that we are addressing these activities in a variety of focused ways. Via our
monitoring program, we continue to collect and analyze water samples at seven sites quarterly.
A large part of our annual workload is being assigned to administering and implementing the TMDL for the Upper
Gallatin Watershed. Additionally, we address the community through a variety of public educational opportunities
